The idea of [mpresa] came as an answered prayer. For years I have struggled to create a brand that gets to the heart of what it means to make “good” video content, afterall what does it mean to make “good” or “quality” video? The vagueness of quality video is similar to that of having “quality” pizza, all the ingredients are there to make an age-old recipe that is (or at least should be) a hit every time with people of all ages. But it’s never so simple, is it? It may be the source of water, the specific number of air bubbles in the dough, or perhaps the dairy farm that the mozzarella comes from, but “quality” when it comes to the finished pie will always differ from one pizzeria to another.
The name [mpresa], and the brackets that must be placed at the beginning and the end of the name, refer to the individual enterprise, and creative yet practical challenge that is video production. As our name suggests, our digital media content is an enterprise. Each and every one of our videos is an adventure that requires planning and boldness, and a challenge followed by reward when completed.
